This news may not exite you, but I’m thrilled at my latest additions to the server room at work. I was able to order 4 Dell Poweredge 1750 rack-mount servers with dual 2.4Ghz Xeon processors. Each box has 1GB of RAM and a single 73GB Ultra 320 SCSI drive. Our mail server (a Poweredge 2200 with dual PII 300’s) has really been suffering lately under the load of spam and virii that plague the modern world. I’m also hoping to reduce our SAM index time to about 20 minutes instead of the current 50.
